I’ve been inspired to apply my skills as a carer and start a specialist wedding day care service where I can assist the elderly and be their wedding day chaperone.

We would all like our elderly relatives at our wedding but it can be a worrying time for the elderly person and the wedding hosts. Sometimes we might worry they will be left sitting alone due to a lack of mobility or be concerned about other ailments.
I can help to get them ready for the big day, accompany them to the wedding and be by their side to provide care and support throughout the day.
You can be assured I will provide them with great company, take pictures, give medication prompting and even be their dance partner if they want to get on the dance floor!

Yes, I will be with them throughout the event to ensure they are comfortable and have everything they need. If I need to step away for any reason, I will coordinate with you or another family member to make sure they’re not left alone.
I’ll keep a close eye on their energy levels and mood. If they seem tired or overwhelmed, I’ll find a quiet place for them to rest or suggest taking a break. If needed, I can also arrange for them to leave early, depending on your preferences.
Absolutely. If you provide me with their medication schedule and any specific instructions, I’ll make sure they take their medications on time. I’ll also keep a record to confirm they’ve taken them.
I can assist them with meals, including cutting food, opening drinks, or ensuring they follow any dietary restrictions. If they have specific needs, please let me know in advance so I can prepare.
I can either accompany them in the transportation you arrange or help coordinate their travel to and from the venue. If you’d like, I can also confirm pickup and drop-off times with the driver.
I’ll have a list of emergency contacts, including you and their healthcare provider, as well as any necessary medical information. If an emergency arises, I’ll notify you immediately and follow the plan we’ve discussed.
Of course! I can introduce them to other guests, help them navigate conversations, or even assist with hearing aids if needed. My goal is to make sure they feel included and comfortable.
I’ll ensure they have easy access to the restroom and assist them if needed. If they use a mobility aid, I’ll make sure it’s always nearby and close at hand.
