A huge sense of job satisfaction this morning, obviously my role as a carer includes taking extra care of clients when their family members go away on holiday. These past two weeks, I have been doing exactly that – taking care of a lovely client who has dementia. Sometimes it can be a little tricky but as I have been caring for her for over 2 years now, I am very familiar with her behaviour traits. We have achieved lots over 2 weeks including caring for her precious tomato plants. This morning I thanked her for being so nice to look after. She said “we have done very well and had lots of fun and I will miss you until you are back on Monday”.

This is why I love my job so much; for moments like these. ❤️❤️
